This is not a joke. 1L at HYSChi. Froze up in an interview for a 2L SA position with a v20 firm (v1 and my first choice in my target market).
He asked what my favorite case was. I panicked and mentally went to my con law studying (exam is on Monday), and Dred Scott was all I could remember. He seemed somewhat taken aback and asked why. I said something like “I’m just fascinated with the era” and we left it alone. Am I cooked?
