I know I'm not the first or last person to have this happen to them, but it really ticked me off. I'm a junior associate and the fact that a mid-level thought 1. This was appropriate and 2. That they had the audacity to yell at me, is crazy.
What did I do you ask? In my opinion, nothing. I think the mid-level was feeling stressed from above and put that stress onto me but there was actually no assignment that I messed up on. I wish there was, I actually wish that I had messed up because then at least I could point to something I did.
I am new to the case, just got on the case team 2 weeks ago. The mid-level was upset that I asked a question that had apparently been thoroughly addressed a month ago, prior to me getting on to the team. I didn't have this information, and I am still in the process of getting clearance. I know I'm not destined for big law, but this is crazy.
