Recently moved from one BigLaw firm to another and a partner asked me to send over an email with the general fee ranges my old firm used to charge for different types of matters.
Nothing client-specific and no old emails or fee proposals, just approximate ranges based on matters I worked on.
Still, I feel a little iffy about putting my old firm’s pricing in writing like that.
Am I overthinking this? And if not, how would you respond to the partner without making it awkward or sounding difficult?
