When people ask me about going to law school, many times it is someone who has no chance at getting into anything close to a T14 law school. If their main motivation for going to law school is income, I often show them these graphics, so they can see for themselves that salaries below Biglaw do not follow a linear decline, but are a bimodal distribution with a large drop below Biglaw.
