I’m a 2L who’s very interested in working in certain specific fields of BL and i’m very aware that getting in touch with professionals is a good way to 1.understand what i’m getting into 2.build a network.
However, the concept of cold messaging someone on linkedin with no prior relation and to directly speak about myself seems incredibly odd and i honestly almost feel bad for the person that i have to bother and who’s probably not getting much in return.
As professionals, how do you honestly find these experiences, and how can one get in touch without being rude or brazen? What would actually make you compelled to speak to someone in my situation?
