I want to blame the job for this but it was my own fault. I work in finance law, mainly helping bankers with IPOs and registered offerings. Last weekend they invited me out and of course I went to build relationships for business development. They acted like idiots like grinding on women, talking about sex and inordinate amount of time, and generally being perverts. Also gluttons For some reason they have to stuff their mouths with lobster and steak and expensive alcohols. I was vibing and got caught up in the moment and for whatever reason I slept with the one woman in that place willing to sleep with me kind of a working class girl from Brooklyn, old school Brooklyn not DUMBO. Test results came back I have genital herpes. I wore a condom I'm not stupid but the blisters were on the side. Word to the wise. I've been thinking about it for a few days and what's done is done. Again I want to blame this job because this job is what put me in that situation but it really was my fault. Also I guess I could pursue legal action against her but that seems like a foolish thing to do.
