I'm extremely burnt out. Month after month of billing too much, went on vacation and came back and thought maybe I could tough it out but its been months of so much work that I think I'm done. I just don't know what the next step is. I wanted to lateral, but now even that seems daunting. Feels like it will be more of the same and maybe worse. My current firm sucks, but the majority of people I work with are at least reasonably nice; the demands of the job/clients are just unbearable. Too junior to go in house. Not sure what to do.
