finally admitted it to myself

I’m not suited for this litigation life. My anxiety is insane, I struggle to find time to self-care, I’m constantly afraid of the next toxic comment I receive, my hands shake when I am in my office. I am in a fabulous firm, but I cannot do it. My nerves are shot. Depression has soaked my bones for so long. I have sought medication, I have exercised, I tried hobbies. At the end of the day, my burnout has resulted in ambivalence. I miss striving for excellence. Most of all, I miss enjoying a nice afternoon light on trees or an early morning run. Some people love this life, and that’s okay. I don’t think I can do this big law lifestyle, and that’s okay too.

Is it?
