First-year associate told me they are left-handed.

It wasn't responsive to anything I said--they just sort of interjected the fact into our conversation.

I have no clue what they expect me to do with this information. Back in my day, you kept shameful shit like this to yourself. At most, you might tell your close family, or others who you were CERTAIN were in the Contrary Clutchers Club.

Wait...did they think I might be part of the Perverse Paws Party??? Surely they didn't just divulge this highly-personal information in passing given that the proportion of those people is ridiculously high in biglaw when you compare to the general public. Any advice on where I go from here?? I don't want to under-react because I'm too fucking neurotic to not notice this associate's implication that I am "part of the club."
