I had unexpected medical bills (and a lot of other costs) since my law school's health insurance has zero coverage in the city I'm doing my summer at, and I can no longer pay for the apartment I was staying in. I'm out of loans and my credit score is so shot I can't take out anymore. I'm already maxed out on my credit limit. I'll have to look for a cheaper place to live in the interim but I'm going to be homeless indefinitely. No friends or family nearby.
Should I tell my firm? If so, is asking for an advance on the pay an option?
