I made a post here about getting laid off less than a year into a new job late last year, asking for advice on what to do. In the end, I managed to find a position through a referral from a friend. The position is at a better firm ironically, though I had to take a year cut (which is understandable given how slow my last firm was). Same kind of law (but way better deals), same city, way bigger team and better environment.
Just wanted to share the good news and thank everyone for their advice and support :) For any laid off juniors out there, there's at least some hope!
