Inspired by comments on a number of posts over the last few weeks, is the juice of big law increasingly not worth the squeeze for the vast majority of people?
Two-tiered partnership increasingly the norm, all partnership tracks getting extended by several years, AI squeezing at the margins, and increasingly poor WLB with post-Covid expectations on reachability coupled with RTO mandates?
It just seems like very few people are striking it rich in this profession anymore such that the time and health tradeoffs are worth it.
