Litigation counsel at an Am Law 20 firm in NYC. Almost 5 years at the firm. Was just told that if I don’t leave by the end of December they will tell me then when my last day will be. First year I crushed the hours but the last few have been lean which is the reason they gave me. They offered me a recruiter and full use of their career development team which I will take full advantage of.
It’s all a really big shock. First time I have been pushed out of a job. Just looking for any tips, encouragement, happy endings. Thanks.
