Title says it all; I am a trainee at a big law firm, and last night my team was out for drinks.
It was a lot of fun but I ended up being way too drunk (empty stomach, drinks kept coming). My colleague ended up putting me in a taxi after I struggled with my phone and finding Ubers. I was in heels so I ended up being very wobbly and perhaps I fell. Can’t remember.
I am so mortified, and I’m not usually like this. I don’t think I was necessarily not fun to be around last night, but I did overdo it with the alcohol and am a bit of a blabbermouth. I feel so embarrassed. What’s the best thing I can do?
