Mid-levels, are people actually reviewing your work?

I’m a corporate mid-level and some of my teams have basically stopped reviewing my work entirely or give a “Looks good!”. There have been instances where things have been sent to a client with uncaught mistakes, which affirms that people aren’t really reviewing the work product.

I don’t expect my work to be ripped apart like when I was a first year, but it’s hard to know whether I’m actually growing as an associate substantively when senior associates and partners aren’t reviewing, let alone explaining/teaching me anything. Our group is also very lean at the moment, so that is also a contributing factor.

Is this normal? I get that mid-level years are when your training wheels get taken off, but I feel a bit more unsupported than I thought I would. Maybe this is just growing pains, but my gut tells me this is group specific.

appreciate any advice or commiseration. thanks, everyone.
