I live in an upscale NYC suburb, and many of my neighbors are partners and associates at very prestigious law firms. During a recent dinner party at my neighbor's house (an associate, no less!), I "explored" his closet, and found about ten very expensive watches in a sock drawer. One is worth in excess of $10,000. He wears these watches in a rotation, so I don't think that he will notice if one were to go missing. I have had some recent cash flow issues, so I don't really any see any ethical issues with me "borrowing" this watch. Besides, his firm recently increased associate salaries, so this will be no great loss for him. Thoughts?
