I should have silenced my phone. The poor technician asked me over intercom if it was an emergency lol. He was super annoyed when I finally called him back. I’ve been rescheduling this exam for the last 3 months; finally ended up choosing what I thought would be a quiet afternoon now that this horrible deal we were on closed. I didn’t take time off, just blocked off an hour on my calendar, so I guess maybe it’s on me? This job is really something. Is it my fault I don’t feel like I have any ownership of my own time, or are boundaries just impossible?
