How do you deal with partners who expect all deliverables (regardless of priority) now? Dealing with someone who will ping me while we are on an important call with our client asking me for non-urgent deliverables for a different client, or who will email on a Friday night or Saturday morning asking that I immediately send something the client won’t look at until Monday. This same person became very upset when everyone didn’t immediately get to work on (again) some work that was not time sensitive on New Year’s Day, reasoning that he had already given us a break NYE. I ask not just for myself but for the other people I have to go to asking for work product —I can tell they’ve stopped respecting internal deadlines because they are always so patently unreasonable.
