Today, I had the rare privilege of getting assigned a case co-counseled with a well known BigLaw firm, and I was stunned beyond measure.
If you work in BigLaw in any capacity, you are making my life hell.
Your partners treat me like I’m one of their associates but aren’t paying me. They send me emails across time zones that I won’t answer for 12 hours. Your motions to extend response deadlines have tables of contents AND authorities. Your associates blankly stare at me on a zoom call and then bleed all over my brief without actually changing anything. Why do you guys even do it?
I am genuinely perplexed.
I find each and every one of you out there doing this work annoying.
You are incredibly distasteful.
