Currently on the 8th weekend in a row that I've lost to work and contemplating my life. Has anyone found that working at a top biglaw firm (ie., Skadden, K&E, STB, Cravath, etc) has paid off in their career? Im currently 1.5 years in at one of these firms (previously did 3 years at a top firm in my home country (eg., UK/AUS/NZ), and contemplating whether I should of left biglaw and gone in house sooner / never made the jump to the top biglaw firm.
I'm talking about whether it paid off for (1) exit opps and (2) way down the line in your career where you can say you worked at XYZ biglaw firm.
