How long would we think a mid-ish level at a sweatshop V10 has before getting fired if they quiet quit.
For context, my hours have been phenomenal, so phenomenal that I have zero interest in continuing to work them any longer. Other than the exhaustion, I generally like my firm and don’t have an interest in leaving my cushy office and perks before I have to.
How long do we think I have? I’m envisioning a world where I shut my laptop no later than 9pm, stop agonizing over trivial details, say “no” to assignments if it will put me over, say, 55 hours per week (and/or the 9pm cutoff) and lose the need to respond to every partners email within 15 minutes.
ETA: I reread my post and realize how totally deranged these standards are. But still curious.
