Junior partner stops by my office today and says that he's looking to write a couple blog posts on an area of law that I'm familiar with.
To sum up our conversation, he wants me to write up a bunch of shit, blast it on our website, and put his name on it.
As to our dynamic: this guy was just made partner last year and inherited a book where I do some stuff here and there. I'd never worked with him directly until recently.
I have so much shit to do, but I'd rather bill 50 more hours this year than write a single blog post. I hate it.
Do I just hit him with the "I don't have the capacity to work on your lame unbillable side project."
