Just starting my second year and hit 2100 this past year. I took a two-week vacation over the summer and cleared it with the people I work with- everyone was supportive.
I’m planning another two-week vacation end of December through first week of January (I'm in litigation so no end of year corporate scramble and no real court deadlines during that time).
My question is if you’re hitting your billables, does taking a couple of longer vacations each year make you look bad? Had a partner tell me that he didn't take those long vacations until year 3/4..
