tomorrow morning i’m flying private (for the first time in my life…) with 2 very senior partners who i am becoming somewhat close with but have only been working with them for a month or less. the flight is from 10-11am and then we have our final pretrial conference from 1-4pm in court, then we’re flying home on the same private plane they chartered, from 5:30-6:30pm. should i wear a suit to the morning flight? (and just all day then?) or do you think the partners will be in street clothes holding their suit bag? i have no clue and don’t want to be embarrassed
EDIT: Wow I woke up to so many responses. Truly appreciate the help from everyone. I am a male (one person asked). I def have the confidence now, from reading your responses, to just wear the suit. You’re right - it’ll likely match what the partners are doing, and if it doesn’t, worst case it shows i understand the seniority at play etc. Just glad to hear confirmation from so many that it wouldn’t look stupid.
