hi all. I’m a new mom to a two month old currently on maternity leave. I am a smart woman who has made some seriously poor personal life decisions. My husband is an addict in recovery and since having a baby has become a nightmare and is showing signs of being abusive. I cannot remain married to him. that being said, I am super nervous about single motherhood and making big law work. I want to make it work more than ever for my son but worried about the stigma and practicality. is it doable? I’m only a third year.
Edited to add the caveat that I have no family And my ex will be little to no financial help. He lied to me about having an income/money and actually has neither.
