Stop Making Mistakes

I’m not respected on the teams I work on, and I’d like to change that. Something is always missing with the work, it’s wrong, it’s incomplete, I misunderstood something, or my judgment just isn’t good enough. I am a junior associate and just struggling deeply. Everything I do is just wrong on some way. I’m not talking about typos, but my ideas are critiqued or not taken seriously (for example, should we prepare something for a hearing? no) or there’s inconsistencies in the document review or I try to follow up on things with outside counsel or co counsel and I always get a snarky email in response.

I didn’t think I was as stupid as I was until I started working in biglaw. How did you all get on top of your cases? I am trying to assess how quickly I need to find a new job in the meantime.
