3rd year here working with a fifth year on a pretty routine matter. She’s acting like this is the only thing I’m staffed on, constantly sending passive aggressive emails and copying the partner when things aren’t timed to the moment of her liking, acts condescending when speaking with me, and isn’t helpful at all. In more or less words, she’s an asshole.
I don’t have problems like this with any of the other associates or partners I work directly with on matters and dealing with her is driving me to my wits end every day. I’m thinking of emailing the equity and junior partners after this deal closes and asking to not be staffed on anything with her in the future. What do we think?
