Weil falling proves lawyers have no fucking clue about business

So much for lawyers being "dealmakers" and paying M&A/PE partners north of seven figures, yet none of them could figure out how to develop a system within their own partnerships to prevent such events LOL

Just think about how Goldman Sachs used to be a partnership (before their IPO) and managed to retain people and keep the franchise going for a century.

Yet law firms are being "shaken" whenever some heavyweight(s) leave(s).

But sure, everyone gets paid their $$ in hard cash. The finance guys I've spoken with envy the shit out of us, considering they have carry / stock options that keep them aligned with the firm's long-term interest. But not us baby, I get paid today 100% cash, fuck whatever happens tomorrow hehe keep the cash flowin', hell yeah!

Let's see who's next to fall, with all these recent big "moves" stressing firms' balance sheets or concentrating their survival on a handful of "assets"
