What does the lifestyle of a Big Law partner actually look like?
From a junior associate's perspective, it's all very opaque. I know they earn extraordinarily well, but what do their days actually look like? Their evenings? Do they have rich social lives? Do they spend tens of thousands of dollars in a single night? Do they have time to have a family and children, and actually see them? Is their work essentially their entire life? Are their days mostly made up of business lunches and client dinners? Is the sacrifice worth it? Do they live in multi-million-dollar penthouses with butlers? Are they the "poors of the rich"? At which time does more money become irrelevant?
I'm very curious about it.
