Burning out mid-level. Don’t want to go in-house. Have the possibility to stick around and make partner, but you couldn’t pay me all of the money in the world in exchange for my sanity and life.
What else can I do? Money is a consideration, but I don’t need a fortune. I’d be happy with dropping back down to a 1st year salary. Ideally I’d be able to do something strategic that isn’t client-facing or as tedious as what we do now.
